Privacy Policy

What we collect
- Account information — your email address and name, handled by our sign-in provider (Clerk) when you create an account.
- Usage analytics — pages viewed and features used, via Google Analytics, to understand what's useful and what's broken.
- Payment information — when subscriptions launch, payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store full card numbers.
- Support messages — what you send through the feedback widget or email, so we can respond.
Player statistics and minors
DugoutData compiles game results and player statistics from publicly available scorekeeping records published by teams and tournaments. Because these statistics describe youth athletes, we take deliberate precautions:
- Player names are displayed as first name and last initial only.
- We do not publish players' contact information, addresses, birthdates, or photos.
- We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. Accounts are for adults — parents, guardians, and coaches.
If you are a parent or guardian and want your child's statistics removed or corrected, contact us via the Help & Feedback button on any page — we honor these requests promptly.
What we don't do
We don't sell your data. We don't share it with advertisers. We don't send marketing email you didn't sign up for.
Third-party services
We rely on: Clerk (authentication), Google Analytics (usage analytics), Railway (hosting), and Stripe (payments, when subscriptions launch). Each processes only the data needed for its function, under its own privacy policy.
Cookies
We use cookies for sign-in sessions (required) and analytics (Google Analytics).
Data retention & deletion
Account data is kept while your account is active. To delete your account and associated personal data, contact us via the Help & Feedback button.
Changes
Material changes to this policy will be announced on the site or by email before they take effect.
